意大利高端设计品牌Molteni&C由Angelo Molteni先生创办于1934年，而它的故事则始于更早的1912年，Molteni在意大利的家具制造地Giussano(现蒙扎和布里安扎省区域)地区开始了自己的创业历程。 他的手工制造坊在很短的时间内就成为高品质产品的代名词。1955年，Molteni先生与Ludwig Mies van der Rohe以及Alvar Aalto的学生，瑞士建筑师Werner Blaser一起推出了一个项目，首次参加在意大利坎图举办的“国际家居大奖赛及精品展”并赢得了冠军。70年代，为满足越来越大的市场需求，Molteni&C将公司划分四个部分经营，分别是Molteni&C、Unifor、Dada 及Citterio。

Molteni & C, an Italian high-end design brand was founded in 1934 by Mr. Angelo Molteni, and its story began in 1912. Molteni started its own career in Giussano (now Monza and Brianza province region), the Italian furniture manufacturing area. His brand started to equalize high-quality products in a short period of time. In 1955, Mr. Molteni launched a project together with Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Alvar Aalto’s students, and Swiss architect Werner Blaser. He participated for the first time in the "International Home Grand Prix and Boutique Exhibition" in Cantu, Italy, and won the championship. In the 1970s, in order to meet the growing market demand, Molteni & C divided the company into four parts, namely Molteni & C, Unifor, Dada and Citterio.
After years of development, it has integrated a complete industrial chain in many aspects such as technology and production, as well as integrated manufacturing such as home furniture and office furniture. At the same time, Molteni & C has been actively developing large-scale design solutions with Foster + Partners, Patricia Urquiola, Jasper Morrison and other global top architects and designers, in projects such as museums, boutiques, restaurants, cruise ships, hospitals, theaters and other overall plans. The interior design such as the LaFenice Opera House in Venice and the Cartier flag shop in Paris are classics of Molteni & C.
