历时两年，耗资近千万，只做七间房，Gala Hom是典型的小而美民宿。
一边是杭城最繁华的商圈，龙翔桥的步行街上永远游人如织，另一边则是千年袅娜的西子湖，看不尽的绰约风姿。
初入房间，低调与质感并存，既有日式的禅意，又带着几分现代简约，温暖、娴静。门口右侧“旮旯”二字，由篆书篆刻而成的。两块看似寻常极易被人忽略的老砖，竟是宋代的。就像Gala Home一样，低调朴素，但有一种浑然天成的自在气质。陶瓷等器具随处可见，悬挂的画作皆由艺术家明羽先生（创始人之一）度身创作的书画作品。为了保证和艺术品最近距离的接触，所有画作的外框都没有玻璃，堪称奢侈、尽显大度。
Gala Home会不定期展开各类文化体验活动，邀请杭城文化圈子里的大师们一同切磋技艺。每一位入住者都可以成为参与、体验文化的一部分。

GALA HOME, a typical small but beautiful home stay,with only seven rooms, costs two years and nearly ten million RMB in construction. It is located between the busy business district, Longxiangqiao and the beautiful West Lake of more thousands of years.
Rooms here are combinations of Japanese Zen and modern simplicity, undertone but rich in texture,warm and peaceful. The two Chinese word ‘旮旯’ on the right of the gate are curved by zhuan characters(a style of Chinese calligraphy) on two bricks, which looks ordinary but are actually came from Song Dynasty and this also stands for GALA HOME itself, undertone but worth exploring. Chinas are exhibited everywhere in the hotel, and hanging paintings are all specially drew by one of the founders Mr. Mingyu. In order to shorten the distance between visitors and the artworks, all paintings’ frames have no glass, how large-minded the owners are!
A variety of culture experience activities are held here regularly, and some great masters will be invited to communicated with each other. Therefore, each customer staying here can be part of the culture communication.
